A very nice stay in Moffat in The Annandale Arms. We ate in the restaurant and the cookery was exceptional. Our garden room was very spacious with comfy beds and hotel was able to accommodate our bikes securely. For breakfast we ate the best porridge we had in Scotland for this trip.
Just back from staying at the Annandale hotel in Moffat, fantastic..couldn't praise it enough,lovely hotel with amazing friendly staff,great food and service and the perfect location..a brilliant bank holiday break away.. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back!!! Thankyou to everyone involved.. Very much appreciated.
Very pretty town, the hotel is on the high street, rooms are so comfortable & beautifully decorated. Great bathroom facilities, we had breakfast which was very tasty & well priced. Staff are brilliant, so friendly. We'd definitely stay here again.
Just went into the bar a few times, it was pleasant to sit in with no hassle, it was very reasonably priced and the barman was always cheerful.
Great bar, huge improvement on what was there before. Staff friendly, prices good. Only criticism is fairly poor choice of beers.
Six of us went on a biking weekend to have a look around the west coast and Galway forest park. Everything was brilliant, the ride, the people, and the hotel. If you are going to adventure out to this area, try the Annandale Hotel, you will not be disappointed, the food was amazing and the staff are very welcoming. It's one of the best places I've stayed at for a very long time.
We stayed here due to last minute change of plans. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They bent over backwards to help us and I can not recommend them enough. Room was a little tired- but functional. Only reason for 4/5 star is because the shower had nearly no pressure.
We didn’t stay in the hotel, but had their magnificent Sunday carvery. Everything was cooked to perfection, and and we were hungry there was plenty! Vegetables done to perfection, and a selection of meats, all done very well. Reasonable pricing and excellent staff made our visit well worth it. Thank you
